
Children as young as six months can get comfortable in the water and build their swimming skills in our weekly swim classes. Parents can join infants in the water while older kids refine their swimming skills. Your children will learn important techniques from our instructors who will provide a fun and exciting environment. Certified lifeguards will be on duty at all times.
Dates:
Saturdays: Oct. 31, Nov. 7, 14, 21, and Dec. 5 (5 classes)
All classes begin in the pool at 10:00am and will run for approximately 45 minutes.
There will be no make-up times for missed classes available.

Course Descriptions
Level A - Parent and Child
Children aged six months to two years old with either no water experience or one previous session join their parents to become comfortable in and around the water and prepare them for swimming skills as they get older. Parent will learn techniques to help orient their child to the water and to safely supervise water activities.
Level A - Toddler
Children from 18 months to four years old with two or more previous swim lessons continue to build their comfort and confidence in the and under the water with flotation support at all times.
Level B - Toddler with Parent
Children up to five years old with little or no experience in the water build their comfort and confidence in and under the water with a parent and instructor's help.
Level 1-Introduction to Water Skills
Students build their confidence in the water and enjoy the water safely. Students will learn elementary aquatic skills such as:

Level 2-Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Students will learn fundamental aquatic skills such as:
Prerequisite: Level 1 certificate or ability to demonstrate Level 1 skills
Level 3-Stroke Development
Students will build on their Level 2 skills with more practice. They will also learn the:
Prerequisite: Level 2 certificate or ability to demonstrate Level 2 skills
Level 4-Stroke Improvement
Students will develop confidence in the strokes learned thus far and to improve other aquatic skills. They'll also swim greater distances using previously learned strokes and learn skills such as:
Prerequisite: Level 3 certificate or ability to demonstrate Level 3 skills
Level 5-Stroke Refinement
Students refine their performance of all the strokes and increase their distances. Students are also introduced to flip turns on the front and back.
Prerequisite: Level 4 certificate or ability to demonstrate Level 4 skills
Level 6-Swimming and Skill Proficiency
Students prepare to participate in more advanced aquatic activities such as lifeguard training and competitive swimming. This level is customized to meet the objectives of the student. Options include:

Please note: a minimum of three students per level is required for the session to be held. Cancelled sessions will be refunded, or you may opt to use your credit toward another youth swim session.
