Jean Nidetch Women's Center
Although not located in the SRWC, the Jean Nidetch Women's Center offers programs that support student wellness and promote community awareness of women's issues and concerns. We encourage individual involvement to help make a better community.
Programs and Services
- Serving as liaison between UNLV and various Las Vegas community groups including the Southern Nevada Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, Rape Crisis Center, S.A.F.E. House Adopt-a-Family, DJs for PJs, Nevada Coalition Against Sexual Violence, and Safe Nest
- Promoting awareness of health and wellness issues
- Promoting awareness of violence and rape prevention
- Creating and implementing sound programs for the UNLV community
All of our programs and services are free or donation-based for admission and encourage individual involvement to better the community.
