Facility Attendant
Facility Attendants are responsible for delivering quality guest service. This includes answering guest questions by phone and in person, equipment checkout and many other service-related duties. Attendants will be responsible for monitoring entrance into the facility using computer software. Attendants provide assistance to patrons and maintain the cleanliness of the facility. Starting Hourly Rate: $7.00
Lifeguard
Lifeguards are primarily responsible for guest safety. This includes maintaining equipment, enforcing guidelines, member service, and keeping areas clean and well organized. Amercian Red Cross Certification preferred. Starting Hourly Rate: $9
Outdoor Adventures Office Attendant
Attendants are responsible for performing the day to day operations of the Outdoor Adventures (OA) office. This includes taking equipment reservations, signing people up for trips, providing information on OA programs, completing transactions, inspecting and repairing equipment, and enforcing policies. Attendants also assist with selected OA programs, such as informational sessions and s'more nights. Starting Hourly Rate: $7
Outdoor Adventures Trip Leader
Trip Leaders are responsible for the safety and enjoyment of participants on Outdoor Adventure programs. This may include managing risks, providing first aid, navigating trails or rivers, instructing necessary skills, and enforcing UNLV and OA policies. Trip Leaders are required to participate in many trainings to build and maintain skills necessary to lead in the outdoors. Prior experience with hiking, camping, backpacking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, snowshoeing, or wilderness first aid is preferred. Starting Hourly Rate: $9
Fitness Center Attendant
Fitness Center Attendants are responsible for the day to day operations of the fitness center and ensuring a safe environment for all members and guests.This includes maintaining equipment, enforcing guidelines, weight-training supervision, providing member services, and keeping areas clean and well organized. Will provide training and experience for becoming a personal trainer. Starting Hourly Rate: $7
Group Fitness Instructor
Individuals must be personable, outgoing and enthusiastic with a desire to help class participants reach their fitness goals. Must have ability to motivate others and lead a safe and effective group exercise class. Starting Hourly Rate: $9
Personal Trainer
This person is responsible for designing and leading clients through safe and effective workouts. Must be personable, self-motivated and have a passion for helping individuals achieve their fitness goals. Must possess knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, program design, periodization, and exercise equipment. Starting Hourly Rate: $9
Group Fitness Assistant
Assist with set-up and break down of group fitness classes, as well as assist members of the group fitness classes with proper form and technique. Will provide training and experience for becoming a group fitness instructor. Starting Hourly Rate $7
Rebel Wellness Zone (RWZ) Assistant
Assist professional and graduate staff within the RWZ with clerical and organizational functions. This can include filing, answering phones, and computer work. Starting Hourly Rate: $7
Intramural Sports Official
Officiate Intramural sports games and events. Help with setting up for sports contests, enforce sports rules, interact in a positive manner with intramural sports participants. Intramural sports normally take place during weekday evenings from approximately 6 p.m.-11 p.m. Exceptional intramural sports officials are often promoted to a supervisory position within intramurals. Starting Hourly Rate: $7.50
